The Boat

Following a victorious campaign in the Ocean Race Europe 2021, GUYOT environnement – Team Europe is taking on The Ocean Race 2022-23 with a new race yacht.

Designed by VPLP/Verdier in 2015 as HUGO BOSS, the IMOCA 60 built by Green Marine in Southampton (England) is a well-born boat. Second in the 2016/17 Vendée Globe with Alex Thomson, she then spent two years in the hands of Charlie Enright’s 11th Hour Racing team, which had the opportunity to test numerous foil shapes to arrive at her current version of appendages designed by Guillaume Verdier.

Bought in 2021 by Eole Performance, the Dutreux brothers shipyard, the 2016 generation foiler benefits from the latest technological developments and is today one of the most reliable boats on the IMOCA circuit.
